In the beginning and like most other First Responder groups, we had to buy our own equipment. We did this by organizing fund raising events. We could not have done this without the help of the community. All money we raised paid for our equipment which ancillary equipment, gloves, O2 masks etc.
We are very lucky now that the North East Ambulance Service provides all our ancillary equipment.
We still however, have to buy some equipment such as Satellite Navigation units.

In 2011 due to clinical changes, All Pulse Oximeters were removed from service.

All the help and money donated to us is greatly appreciated and East Durham Community First  Responders would like to thank everyone for this.
